They aren't too over the top like another resource I looked at , and they are interesting and well-conceived. Though there is a short tutorial on sewing techniques included, I think these projects are really better attempted by at least an intermediate sewer. Fans of Project Runway will remember the geeky Diana Eng. While many of the projects are a variation on the use of LED lights or putting heaphones into something, it's an interesting twist on the standard DIY fare. Dec 10, Melissa rated it really liked it. I haven't made anything from this book just yet, but I really love the projects they have going here.
I think I will make the purse that lights up when your phone rings. Too cool! It has also given me a few ideas of my own.
